Testing and Diagnostic Appointments
Dr. Harris will conduct the initial interview and discuss the necessary history to determine the tests required to best evaluate and understand your concerns. Our psychometrists will guide you through the testing process.
- The initial appointment usually lasts 45 minutes. Clients will need to schedule additional appointments.
- Insurance companies do not always allow us to complete the testing in one appointment, therefore you will be scheduled to return to complete the evaluation. The appointment typically lasts for 1-3 hours.
- Testing may include both written and oral tests.
- Test results will be available approximately 1.5 to 2 weeks after completing all testing.
Note: A $30 testing materials fee is due before the start of testing. This is not covered by insurance.
Therapy Appointments
- Counseling sessions last 45 to 50 minutes.
- At the initial appointments, the therapist will discuss your concerns with you and work to develop an effective, individualized treatment plan.
Some Necessary Reminders
- Arrive at least ten minutes before your scheduled appointment.
- Bring your insurance card.
- Bring cash, check or credit card to pay your co-pay/materials fee, if applicable.
- Bring a list of medications you are taking or recently have taken.
- Bring reading glasses, if needed.
